Fun in Halifax

About a month ago, I flew aaaaaaall the way across the country to attend a week long photography convention put on by the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). It was my first time to Halifax and what better way to explore the city then with a bunch of other photographers! Most days were spent in and out of seminars, meetings and pubs, but we had a break in the weather on the last day in town and managed to get out for a bit of a walk-about. I wandered around town with Anna Beaudry and Tracey Harper practicing some of things we had learned and had some plan old fun with photography. Here are some of my favs from our afternoon hang out. Enjoy!

Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. Really?

Ah, that's more like it!

Downtown Halifax

The names of the pubs say a lot about the locals!

There were photographers everywhere...posing...smiling...I couldn't help photograph them too!

Lady on a cool bike. Loved the red tires...couldn't help myself. I almost bailed running to get this shot!

Georges Island Lighthouse...Because you can't go to the east coast and not photograph a lighthouse!
